Don't be such a Scientist

For those of you who missed Randy Olson's various speaking engaugements at the museum and around town, you actually missed out on a lot. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him and realize that we have very similar interests. Randy's work is dedicated to teaching the scientific community how to inspire action through narrative and storytelling. I've always believed that people are changed by the stories and experiences of others, not so much data and statistics. He reinvigorated my passion for scientific communication--which is actually what I received my master's in.
